The tea room arises in this establishment as a space to disclosure the traditional flavors of sweetmeats and bakery, tea, liqueurs, and other unique products of this region, served at breakfast, snacks or lunches. The main goal is the promotion of the local products as well as of national products. In this space the customer will be welcomed in a living room with a comfortable environment, always decorated with natural seasonal flowers, also celebrating feast days. In this room, the presence of wood will be constant, as well as the handcraft of artisans in some adornments/props to use for example on towels, baskets for bread and biscuits, and trays’ bottoms, among others. The living room has a fireplace, wood on a need basis, in order to provide more comfort and well-being to those who visit us. Our products’ flavours will be produced in a calm, cozy and family-oriented environment, where music will be constant. If the customer prefers, he may enjoy an outdoor terrace, covered or not, adjacent to the tea room. Products for sale will be produced, mostly, in the kitchen of the establishment, always using fresh quality products, typical of each season and of our region.
Customers can have a computer with internet access in order to provide, for example, a brief update email or even sending messages to report details from their eventual trip.
In this place, a small disclosure station will work for handicraft products made by the artisans from Sete Cidades and artisans from other areas of the island and even from other Azorean islands.
