It was the place used to shelter animals, horse tack, and agricultural implements used in the harvests throughout the year. The entrepreneurs were keen to preserve the building’s characteristic features so that guests could step back in time and imagine the activities that took place there. During harsh winters, the owner would gather all the animals here at dusk to provide them with more comfort. It consists of two double bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom, a living room with a wood-burning stove that provides heat for the bedrooms, a fully equipped and spacious kitchen, and a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Outside, there is a porch with a patio area.
For the entertainment of its guests, and free of charge, Casa do Curral offers Wi-Fi, cable TV, a small library, board games, access to the garden and adjacent areas of the house, and private parking.
